SIG SAUER P250

The SIG Sauer P250 is a short recoil operated pistol, with a locked breech. It is designed around the principal of 'Failsafe Defense'; this means it has to assure reliability at all times using the latest technology of safety, rapid release, easy maintenance and long term reliability. The gun has been created for law enforcement and the Special Forces; in fact it has been produced with the cooperation of the leading police experts. The gun has an optimized 'Double Action Only', or DAO trigger system, that has only 3 mm of release on a rapid second round, this minimal delay makes it highly dependable gun in critical situations. The short trigger reset in DAO mode about 3 mm or 1/8", is very consistent. The cam-operated barrel locks into the ejection port on the slide. Adding to accuracy are the combat-type sights with three white dots. The frame has an integral Picatinny rail that easily fits a range of accessories including flashlights and laser pointers.

A wide array of automatic safety features have been built into the gun, like the spurless hammer and the automated firings pin that keeps it safe even if it falls or is handled roughly. The polymeric grip is ambidextrous and adapts to individual hand shapes and sizes, and is comfortable to handle even if used with gloved hands.
