Right and Wrong

The other evening, my darling wife of 25 years and I got into a political argument.

As is our nature, neither of us would admit the possibility that we might be mistaken in our opinion.

To my beautiful brides credit, she finally looked into my eyes said, "Hey, I'll tell you what. I'll admit I'm wrong, if you admit that I was right."

I thought about it for a moment, I didn't want to argue over politics anyway. I said "Fine".

She took a deep breath, looked at me sincerely and said, "I'm wrong."

I smiled politely at her and replied...

"You're right."
