Barack Hussein Obama, Liberal hopeful, recently revealed his disdain for middle America’s faith and values at a closed-door San Francisco fundraiser:

“You go into these small towns in Pennsylvania and, like a lot of small towns in the Midwest... it’s not surprising they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who are not like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.”

Memo to B.H. Umama:

I'm Bitterly Clinging to Guns and Religion. I'll keep the rest of the Constitution, too

This T-shirt memo serves as a reminder that religious freedom, the right to keep and bear arms are American fundamental rights. And don't you ever forget it...

General, how about due process and right to privacy? Aren't we giving up these Constitutional freedoms under the current administration?
Don't get me wrong, I'm not going to be placing an Obama sign in my yard any time soon, but we must be intellectually honest with our political criticism. If not, we are just rooting for our "team."
John McCain certainly isn't distancing himself from the Bush Administration and their policies, even after they dishonored his military service during the 2000 Republican Primary. He lost my respect when he aligned himself so steadfastly with them following that ugly primary.
Let's all make an informed decision about what's best for our country.

Our current government is failing. The economy is in shambles, we are wasting enormous resources in a war that hasn't been proven relevent to the "war on terror," and we are commiting crimes against U.S. citizens in the name of liberty. The United States is losing it's Global influence at an alarming rate. Russia is laughing at our empty threats, and China is the new global superpower.
Where do we go from here? I watched the Democratic candidate for President lay out a mostly Socialist agenda on the national stage. The Republicans have made it clear that they are in support of staying the path. Lesser of two evils it seems. Should we elect a Socialist, or another corrupt politician who's agenda will continue to line the pockets of the super rich.

Let's get to the nitty gritty of this election! Opinions Please!

I agree. The nitty gritty is that the dollar is strengthening once again, price of fuel is dropping, the economy is turning around and growing, new construction is everywhere, unemployment is falling, no terrorism, attacks on our troops is at the lowest level ever!!!

Committing crimes against U.S. citizens in the name of liberty? You tell me the crimes. Wire tapping, collection phone records, email reading? This has all been done before during the the Clinton and Carter years. Provide a better way of protecting the good of the many at the expense of the one or the few?

Who's fault is it that China is a Global Superpower? Not the current government my friend. It's United States Citizens. They refuse to buy products made in this Country!!!

Think 50% tax rate is bad - if the Liberals win, IT WILL BE 70%. That's no exaggeration. You and I will spend less, the economy will faultier. Employers will layoff workers. Businesses will have to close lessing healthy competition. Unemployment will sky rocket. The dollar will loss ground.

Here's my opinion as a voting American Citizen in the United States Presidential Election.

Instead of Obama & Biden's so called 'CHANGE', I would rather have a U.S. Naval graduate that flew ground attack missions from a aircraft carrier that retired from the Navy as a captain. A two term member of the House of Representatives. Then elected to the U. S. Senate. Winning re-election easily in 1992, 1998, and 2004. While adhering to conservative principles and possessing the media’s reputation for being a "maverick" for disagreeing with his party. Then add Palin to the equation. She’s also a reformer. As governor she has raised billions for Alaska and her people. Now every Alaskan receives a $1,200 rebate check from the oil companies. Palin publicly made it known that fellow legislators where taking oil company bribes. Can you think of another DFL politician who’s done anything of the sort?

In the history of the United States - no Presidential Election will have a greater impact on the citizens of this Country.

Perhaps opinions will not change, however if this country is to survive, they will need to.

Holding US citizens in prison camps without any due process is criminal! If they are terrorist, then let's charge them as such.
How many products on our shelves are made in the USA? I searched the shelves high and low last Christmas trying to find products that weren't made in China. Let me tell you, there wouldn't have been anything for my kids to open on Christmas morning, if I had stuck to my guns and bought only US products.
Saying that the US economy is strong, is like sticking to the Iraq weapons of mass destruction argument. A country's economy is fading when another Country holds (China)$7trillion in US treasury bonds. We have the largest budget deficit in US history. All that from 7 years of bad policy. I thought Republicans were supposed to be Conservative. Taking a budget surplus in 2000 and turning it into this massive deficit is clearly not a conservative trait.
I could go on and on.
How about Haliburton? A company on the verge of bankruptcy in 2001, now seeing record profits from military contracts paid with our tax dollars. Did you know that this company moved their corporate office to Abu Dubai so they don't have to pay the US taxes? For those of you who don't know or remember, Dick Cheney, spent some time on Halliburton's board before becoming VP. If that doesn't get you upset with the current establishment, then you're just rooting for your team. GO TEAM.

You make a good argument my friend and a lot of sense. I am naturally competitive and realize when I am beaten. You have communicated your position well and I agree with your statement. I have jumped on the band wagon and need to seek out the reasoning why. Thank you Brad for adjusting my compass.

General, Only problem is who to vote for now? Damn I wish Ron Paul was on the ticket. He may just get a write in ballot.

General, I understand why you back the Republican party. The principles by which that party was built, are the principles that made America a great nation. Unfortunately, greed has wedged itself between the principles and the actions of these leaders.
For the most part we see eye to eye in what we want for this country. I have a great deal of respect for the opinions you express and I apologize for communicating anything less.
