I will be happy to look it up for you. I will use an established firearm rating guide used by most Dealers. This guide 'GRADES' the firearm by three condition types. Perfect Condition, Good Condition and Fair Condition. You'll need to provide an accurate assessment of the firearms condition. "When Determined To Survive, Leave Nothing To Chance" |

Okay General, thanks for the help. I've been searching the internet all night and nothing... It's a Smith and Wesson Model 3000 pump SN FC41672 2 3/4 chamber with folding stock. It's engraved M.P.D. #22. Some police department I was told. 12 ga., in fair condition to good. I can take pictures now if ya need me to. The closest I've came was one with a synthetic fixed stock for 375.00. Also, it was made in Japan. |

Captain Smith, The S&W M3000 Slide/Pump Action was manufactured for Smith & Wesson by Howa Machinery, Ltd., Nagoya, Japan and introduced in 1982. It came in either 20-ga or 12-ga. The 12-ga models where chambered for either std. 2.75 inch or 3-inch magnum loads. Bbls. lengths 26" to 28" improved, medium or full choke. The furniture was American Walnut. Perfect condition = $420, Fair Condition = $225

General, you are the man! Mine, is all factory logoed with S&W synthetic furniture. Even the recoil pad on the folding stock carries the logo. So far, I checked out the "Blue Book" from 2008 and came out with the $189.00 range, but that was for the walnut stock. The tactical M&P version seems to be abit more rearer. I can't find nothing on it. I would like to put the mag extention on it, and a heat sheild. However. I haven't really found any accessories that either fit it, or was made for it. I was thinking of having it re-blued 'cause I like the gun so much, but how much should I invest in a $200.00 shotgun? Again thanks General, and if you come up with anything else that may be useful, please, feel free to let me know.. |

I agree that the stock seems very unique. Perhaps it was produced for Law Enforcement. "When Determined To Survive, Leave Nothing To Chance" |

I contacted Smith & Wesson for information, but the last time I done so; it took them almost four months to respond. I would like to include pictures, but you can hardly make out the logos. I think tomorrow I will put some up anyway, because I would like you to see to square block where the folding stock and pistol grip is. It just looks so unique.... |

I hope the response time is considerably faster this time and I am interested in seeing the images when you have an opportunity to post them. "When Determined To Survive, Leave Nothing To Chance" |

The pictures seem to make'er look rougher than she does with the naked eye. It also shows why I want to have it re-blued. I think a heat-sheild, muzzel brake w/flash-light, and reciever mounted shell holder will set her off nicely... Even if it is only a 200.00 shotgun, I think it's pretty unique. |
