I tried to find the words "plink" and "plinking" in three dictionaries and couldn't.
What is wrong with the world. Is our sport so far beneath the radar that Oxford, Webster, Funk and Wagnall don't even consider it important enough to warrant an entry in their dictionaries?

Plink is just a word that will only make it after someone takes the initiative and writes to the dictionaries

I tried to use the word plinking tonight in an e-mail. When I went to spell check the word came up as miss spelled, But didn't have a correct spelling either.

Good job Major. I am reassured to learn that. Plink or Plinking is as American as Baseball and Mom's Apple Pie. I just couldn't believe my eyes when the spell check program highlighted those two words. Keep up the great work soldier.

To be honest everyone, I was just messing around in an attempt to stir up conversation.
