Captain, if the firearm is for protection? I firmly believe they are worth the price. Whats you or your family worth? Low light situation or not, being able to have the confidence and the ability to put the rounds on target quickly without aiming. You tell me, whats that worth?

I agree with Chain. I have a Kimber with Crimson Trace laser grips, and they are excellent for getting on target quickly. They also give you a distinct advantage if you are facing multiple threats. I suggest you get something with a little more knockdown power than .38 though. Can't go wrong with a .45.

Major Rifleman, tough to learn about being on the receiving end of a 38spl.
Like getting hit with a burning baseball bat swung by a gorilla isn't it? Sorry about the crack "Whats you or your family worth?" Please understand that I get very passionate about family protection. Again, I apologize to you and yours.

Rifleman, you are correct. The .38 +P has enough knockdown power. Let us know how you like the laser grips.
