Thanks Rifleman1, its a little more leg work than i was planing on doing but i really want to find out so i will probubbly end up doing that. Oh one more thing i forgot, the gun has a square frame. i was informed that S&w only makes round frame guns. i dont know if that would give anyone an idea |

I looked in my 2007 Standard Catalog of Firarms 17th Edition and this is what is said about the S&W Model 65 .357. The catalog says "This is the stainless steel version of the Model 13 M&P .357 Magnum. It was introduced in 1974." That is all it had to say about it except it gave the values for New In Box $350, Excellent $300, Very Good $275, Good $225, Fair $175, Poor $125. That is all there was in the Catalog. Hope this helps answer at least a few of your questions. By the way just some information on the S&W Model 13 that your firearm is modeled after and here is the information on the Model 13. "This is simply the Model 10 M&P chambered for the .357 Magnum and fitted with a heavy barrel. It was introduced in 1974." |
