I don't know if anyone has been watching the debates of the Republican Party, but, not many are saying much about it on this site. Maybe the reason is because it is all you hear on the news, but, who can trust the news, I don't give a whoot what they say, I care what other gun owners think on the candidates. As far as Fred Thompson goes, he is a huge disapointment thus far. He has the right belief as far as Second Ammendment rights are concerned, but, he looks like he is half asleep when he is talking. The last debates he did ok, but, most of the rest of the leaders burried him. He looks old and decrepid and I know that not to be true, but, he isn't showing the people that he is Presidential materiel. All I know is if Gulliani gets elected we will have a problem as his anti-gun platform is well known from his time in New York as Mayor and it hasn't changed to date. I don't know about 2008, so far, it looks like all candidates that have a chance of winning from both parties are against us owning guns and for sure they do not want us carrying them for self defense. We need a huge action by the people to speak out for the ones that we really want to win. The Ex-Governor of Arkansas Huckaby it running for President and he talks like us gun owners and believs like us gun owners, but, so far his chances of winning is nill.
