Has anyone ever used Rubber shotgun ammo? Either slug or regular shot? Wouldn't this be handy for someone say breaking into your house, but not yet inside, since shooting someone outside your home can look bad in a court of law. My mother was asking about getting some for home defense, she says she doesn't think she could ever kill someone. I found some on cheaper than dirt.com, a little pricey though. |

I would find some other mean of self protction for your mother. In my opinion, if you pull out a gun, shoot it and shoot to kill! |

Maniac has a good point. There is a reason that they are referd to as less-leathal rounds. At close ranges even a bean bag round has enough energy to kill. Rubber rounds should only be used for there intended purpose at exceptable ranges. As for defense for some one that is not comfortable pulling the trigger, try O.C. pepper spray or a Taser if your local laws allow it. |

theres always a warning shot if there not inside yet you could still get into alot of trouble for shootig someone that has yet to put your life in danger even with less lethal rounds.besides if the criminal lives he could testifie against you in court.that wouldnt help your case at all, just my opinion. |
