I did my time over there wasn't too bad and i got to kill a few bad guys but i couldn't bring my souvenir back, appearantly the ear neck lace still isn't acceptable.... damn it... |

Ear neck lace?? I thought that was all over with in 'Nam...I usually get gold,silver,and any other booty i can from where ever im at...ive been to Turkey, Israel, Saudi, and many other places...but never to Iraq. |

LOL I've seen trophys taken on the same lvl as an ear necklace! I did get to bring back some bayonets from EX-Yugoslavia, and I brought back some gris gris from Central africa. There a medicine man blessed charm ( a leather sack filled with the ashes of a dead relative.) that the rebels believed would stop bullets.... They didn't |

I had a skin head east german friend that brought back 3 soap bars made of c4 and a South african friend that brought back a skull from tchad and kept it in his wall locker, the foreign Legion has a very different mentality though. I also had an english friend try to sneak a macarov through croatian security metal detectors wrapped in tin foil lol!!! It didn't work!!! We all had macarov hide away guns over there they only cost us 3 packs of marlboros. |

wow...those are some cool relics...i got some old Roman gold coins from Turkey...found a pre-historic skeleton in an Italian lake...Silver and gold from Saudi...a piece of the DMZ fence from Korea. |
