What is with the $50 - $200 price increases per firearm at Gander Mountain stores in the last week? This applies to both Used and New firearms. Also, no more deal making on used guns Specific examples : S&W M & P nickel 2 inch was $349 now $419. Ruger GP 100 was $519 now $649. Glock 17 now over $600. |

Gander M.T. just launched a huge advertisment on gun sales. They are offering $25.00 on any trade in. I guess they are just covering themselves.I never buy at hunting stores anyway, as they are all overpriced. Wal- Mart and Hyatt guns is where I buy all of my stuff. |

I stick to mom and pop gun stores, better people and usually they have better warrantees. The only thing I get at places like Gander Mountain and Outdoor world is cheap bullets. "We deal in Lead, friend." Steve Mcqueen from the Magnificent Seven. |

I refuse to shop at the big chain stores like Gaymans Warehouse (sportmans) cause they have run small stores out of Business then raise prices |

Gander mountain did raise their prices however with the hike they have offered an extended warranty for 1 year and a breakdown cleaning and they will laser zero your scope for 5.00 dollars. They also have made a deal with gun manufacturers like mossberg that says they guarranty so many sales which helped mossberg start their new line of rifles that have a lower set retail then most rifles in that quality. |

I think alot of dealers will bore sight your scope for free. I like Walmarts prices and local dealers as well. Walmart starts low and you can usually deal with a local. |

Howdy. I went to my local Gander and almost hit the floor. All of there gun prices have shot up they have also introduced something they are calling their "Certified Gunsmith" program. It looks like an excuse for them to raise their prices from $100.00 to $300.00, they have also have done away with all price matching on firearms. You can get out of their new scheme if you complain and they will take off $20.00. I use to buy all my guns at Gander since they had the best prices and there employees have always been pretty knowledgeable and helpful, but when I can go to my local gun shop down the street and but the same gun for $300.00 less, it’s pure economics. I wonder if they realize how many of their loyal customer they are going to never come threw the doors again? Am I the only one who has seen this? |

I browse the guns at Gander Mountain then buy them at local gun store. Gander has a huge overhead that you'll pay for when you purchase there. Find the gun you want in their huge inventory, then order it through your local dealer. |

I'm not sure if anyone has noticed, but it appears as if all of the big sporting stores have increased their prices. I've even noticed increases at some of the local gun shops. Just like everyone else, they are more interested in making money than pleasing us gun owners. How about the massive increases in ammo prices? I'd rather go hunting with Dick, than driving with Ted: |
