Hi folks.I'm new here and this is a great site.I have owned and, or shot, just about everything from one end of the spectrum to the other being a firearms instructor. The two gun's that I can't bring myself to sell or trade is my Taurus PT 92(11 yrs old)and my S&W 1905 4th change 38sp made in 1923.The taurus is my main carry gun.Never one FTF or FTE and both still get shot on a weekly basis.I own and have owned several other great guns, but these two will probably get buried with me.Anyone ele's have somthing they will never part with?

I have a 1903A3 Springfield my grandfather gave and i will keep that rifle for ever, not just because it has lots of sentimental value, but it's also one of the most accurate and fun to shoot rifles i have ever had.

None of my guns . I can't seem to part with any of them. I once sold a ruger 10/22 and I have regreted it since. I baught another a couple of years later. But to answer your question, I think my 1903 .45 long colt service revolver and my winchester 94 in .45 long colt. I have had a rigging made for the revolver and a scabbard made for the rifle, both with my brand tooled into them. I call them the set and they both go with me on every hunting trip.

Yes..every gun I have gotten rid of because i needed money, I kicked myself in the ass later for..
It always turned out that I would get another job the week after selling it..always..

The .45 colt has ,for many years, been one of my favorite cartridges.A 4in. barreled model 25-5 s.&w.,and a nickel plated,71/2 barreled Colt single action army are my current guns chambered for this great old round. Please let us show our respect for this great and historic old round by refering to it by it`s corrct name. There never was and never has been a round designated .45 long colt.Perpetuating this misnomer only serves to confuse the ignorent, and the ignorent need no further confusion.
