trying to choose between a AK47 or the AR15. target pratice and home protection or in the case of an event type crisis in our country (Self protectection).

AK is alot cheaper, but the AR is alot more accurate and you can get them in
all diffrent calibers .223 Remington, 5.56x45mm, 6.8mm Remington SPC 7.62x39mm, .243 Winchester, .308 Winchester I think .50 cal too, and maybe more, you can put all kinds of accessories on the AR, your best bet is to go with the AR-15, I own 2 .223's and I'm building an .308.

12 ga. ar's go through walls. ak's 2400 fps do to! fun on the range ,both are fun! ar's are more acurat.home defence shot gun, close quarter training , you could learn from taking a course or to . airborne !

i watched a documentary about these two weapons and one of the commintators described the differance like this. the ar15 is a precision tool and the ak47 is a hammer.the ak can take a lot of punishment great for a novice shooter with little training you can use cheap ammo in the weapon and it will still shoot.the ar is a precise accurate weapon that can be modified to the individuals own shooting style but is somewhat tempermental.i own a .223/5.56 and love to shoot it.but i would still like to get my hands on a good ak-47.they are offering a new updated version in a single fire foremat useing more modern materials.that can be modified by the user.i foreget the name of the russian distibuter that sales it now.but check out the new version,go to a good gun shop and ask for some good info.
