Hello everyone, I believe I'm the current ranking officer and the only MP left. Since we are getting new members every day I think we need to have some more authority. Hopefully we can avoid having obnoxious and immature users, thankfully we have not had to deal with that yet. But I think we should be prepared to deal with such things. I wish I can give more people Moderator or MP status, but I am not an Admin. So I want any reports of flaming, threats, and generally bad attitude report here in the officers Lounge. Think of this as regular military structure, crap goes uphill. Also I want to find ways to attract new members, so if anyone else is part of other meesage boards or groups with a similiar interest in firearms to encourage people to come visit our site. Jollyroger, I haven't been a member as long as many that I see, according to the ranking. But, I enjoy the chat on this site and have mentioned you in my other postings. But, I do not mention you on the ones that are as you say have a propensity to be a little obnoxious. One site that I visit almost everyday is Concealed Carry of America. They have some good chat and are very interested in the Conceal Carry issue in America. I joined this organization as they have a lot of information on just what this site does, yet they have a magazine and weekly newsletters on various topics. But, as I said, I have mentioned you on their chat room several times. I have no idea if it got you any new members or not, but, I will keep posting on the sites that the crap doesn't go uphill. |

I ALWAYS WONDERD WHAT IT WAS LIKE TO BE AN OFFICER.IM FRED,AN EX PARATROOPER WITH THE 82ND. I HAVE BEEN TO THE DESERT , I HAVE BEEN TO THE SNOW , AND FEW COUNTRIES IN BETWEEN . Hey, I just made Captain. Seems like I was a private just a few days ago. I to hope that the chatter on this site stays pure to the purpose. I haven't run across any vulgarity so far, just good hard facts about varioous weaponry and some harmless playing around with life. But, all in all the gun chatter, the facts about living in a time where polititions are trying to take our 2nd Ammendment rights away from us have been quite enlightening. If anything comes up we will report in on it. |

Greetings. I just got promoted to 2nd LT. After formerly wearing three-dozen stripes on my sleeve I'm feeling a bit like greenhorn again. Sort of like the new kid on the block. Not complaining, though, because let's face it: this is one heck of a nice block. I am wondering: if you had to whittle your gun collection to only those two --- maybe three at the most --- that you could carry with you, which 2 or 3 would they be, and why? |
