Ranking That Keeps Moving Around

I was wondering about the ranking system. I notice that it moves around at will with huge jumps in rank. I would have loved to gain rank that fast when I was serving. For instance, when I logged in tonight I was a Second Lieutenant and after I added a couple of comments my rank move up to Lieutenant Colonel. Wow, what a jump in rank. But, after I added another comment to another subject, it moved back to Second Lieutenant. I was demoted in just about 50 words. |

Yep it's pretty random allright, 4 hours ago I was an Lt Col, now back to Sgt Maj. |

Hey jack135, I logged in and found this promotion again today. Wow, from enlisted ranking to the elite officer class in one day, that is impressive. I am glad I do not have to live off the pay that varies that much each day or week. This site is still one of the best around for getting to the point and none of us are on this site for the rank anyway, but, it is weird how it moves around. |

Here I am again to see what new data and comments were posted to the site and now I am a new rank. Only three hours has passed and I was a Lieutenant Colonal and now I am a Second Lieutenant. I really dislike being demoted, but, beings it is all in fun and I get the great input on the site who cares. |

Hey bullseye, Down here pay scale in the service reflects the experience of the soldier..... ie a 2Lt straight out of O.T.S cant earn more than a Sgt Maj with 20 years on the job (frankly I'm quite happy about that). Hey I wonder if I'll get another demotion soon. |

Yeah it seems to be iffy sometimes. A while back when the site was built it did that to almost everyone, I thought it was fixed. Salute you Lt. Colonel lol |

Whatever the problem was the problem is fixed as far as I can see. I have stayed the same rank now for weeks. Good job to those who oversee this site. |

Uuuuups, I was a Lt. Colonel yesterday, and now I was demoted to a 1st Lieutenant. I guess I won't be able to buy that new car with my rank jumping up and down the way it is. I much prefered the Lt. Colonel as the pay was great. |

Wow, I love this branch of the service, last night I was a Captain and today I am a Brigidier General. I would much more prefer the General. Love the rank variations. |

Wow, I am back to a Brigadier General all in one day. The promotion system around here is awesome. But, it isn't the rank it is the quality of comments in the gun world. Good Job. |

Sorry guys, but, I am back to a Captain again. Being demonted from a Bigadier General to a Captain was a hefty cut. But, with all the fun I am having, and the more I write I will eventually reach that rank fair and square. |

Man, did I ever have a surprise when I logged in tonight, I went from Major which I was yesterday to a Major General. I love the upgrade for all my hard work, Ha, Ha. But, this is all tongue in cheek because I like this site and the subect matter no matter what rank I am from day to day. |
