The Kel Tec Sub 2000 Carbine is a good choice. I love it, I have it 9mm, but it's available in .40 caliber. It's light and handy and can fold in half.

a friend of mine had the high point carbine, some what on the cheap side but acurate enough and as far as I know you can get one in .40

I use the CX4 in both 9mm and 40 s&w the parts are easy to get and they both eat whatever i feed them.AT 50meters im hitting 1/2 moa with 40 and 1/2-1/4 moa with 9MM.hope this helps

Try the Ruger PC4. It's 40 cal and at 100 yds. still pretty accurate and that's without scope. I picked one up for 400$ (was the last one the store had) and I couldn't be happier. Ruger discontinued it, they say because of sales but I wish they didn't. It uses the same mag as their 40 cal pistol and I have 4 mags to boot should hell break loose. Quality made. Wish I was able to get the one with ghost ring sights but the regular sights will suffice. Recoil is nothin. My friends even dig it.

cz-52..7.62X25

The only round that will go through classII body armor..

Your 40-45 and 9mm can't do that..
unfortunately they no longer make the PPSH..but you could get a repro..

Thanks Vachss.
Fred is correct. It’s a pre Kahr, Auto Ordinance 1927A1 Commando version of the Thompson. Semi-auto 45 ACP with parkerized matt finish, finned barrel and cutts compensator. The furniture has a tough black coating. It is a crowd pleaser; everyone who shoots it, wants one.
