Early when this website developed I was a major contributor but my wife and I moved so i have not been on much, and much has changed. Alot of people here dont know about me but there are a few lifers here that do.
This Is My Story..
My name is Mike. I am a Staff Seargent In The United States Marine Corps Special Opps.
I joined the service when I was 17, I have been to Cuba, Kuwait, Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iran, Korea, and Greece for the Service. i spent most of my time in the middle east. I arrived in Iraq when I was 18 and have been there for 3 tours. i am what you would call a front line man of the regiment and batalion, I was a tank commander my 1st tour and a helicopter pilot my 2nd. Now with promotion I am what we call a Platoon Master. I came home from overseas in June. I do not go back until April.
I live in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, In a very nice nieghborhood. I have a 2 story 4 bedroom house that my wife and I purchased in June. I have a great dog, he is a german sheperd named Dozer, that keeps my wife companay when I am not home (most of the time).
Now the most important thing in my life.
My Wife, Sierra
i met her in my 8th grade biology class and we were dateing. We got married when I was 20 and she was 19. We have never been split up since we met. she is my life, my soulmate, my lover, my spouse my absolute best friend. I propsed to her in itaily when visitng some of my family, got married and i left back overseas again, the hardest thing to do was leaving her at the airport seeing her cry and not wantng to let go, knowing that i may never come home, The best part was that step back on American Soil and walking back into the airport, her running in the airport full of tears jumping on me and knocking me down. I love her to death.
shes just your average 5'9 blonde hair blue eyed girl, that thinks shes fat but i tell her 115 pounds is far from fat.
When i come home sometimes it takes me a while to realize im back and when I walk through an airport or somewhere with my uniform on I get bombarded my people sometimes that shake my hand and say thank you. well its my job and your welcome. its jsut wierd at times because i do not understand it fully at times. My head is still in the clouds you could say.
My life is a gamble, a sacrafice, a card game, I love being a Marine, best descision in my life, next to my wife Sierra,
I just wanted to let everyone know a little bit more about me and telling you thank you for supporting us
The holidays are tough for us overthere, but we get packages from citizens and it means so much to us. even if its jsut a deck of cards. someone is thinknig about us, I get to talk to my wife of video phone about 3 times a year and we write letters and its rough, real rough.
Next time you hear like on the radio especially from verizon wireless the buy a song to send to a soilder overseas, we got a lot of those this year and we appreciate it
so thank you very much all of your suport means a lot to us
Thank you
Mike,

I wanted to thank you for the job you do. I know you consider it just a job but it takes a lot to be one of the folks on the front line defending our freedoms. If it was'nt for you we could not even have this forum. It is the soldier who guarantees our freedom not the politician. Thank you. JD

Life is short, THIS IS NOT A DRILL!

CRXMan you are the epitomy of what an American male should be. Wow, to think that our military is made up of so many just like you and you just do not get the praise and thanks enough. I thank you for being a proud Marine and we are proud of you and what you do. Like everyone else, we wish your wife Sierra and your dog Dozer all the wealth and health that our country could possibly give you. We also thank Sierra for her sacrafice beings you are away often. When ever I get angry at one of these Democrats that are pulling out military down and degrading them I think of people like you who are the epitomy of our military. Thanks for doing a job that you love and keeping our country safe.
