Since you site admin' chaps have given me rank, I thought it only fair to tell yo a bit more of myself.
I'm ex army, ex bush firefighter, currently messing around between jobs (hey it's a new year) while juggling Hunting, Rodeo, territorial army and the sale of my big rig.
Yeah I know sounds like bull, but all true.
Feel free to ask Q's.

Only question I have is: Is New Zealand welcoming of US tourists? June of 08 is my 5 year anniversary and since we never could afford a honeymoon, we vowed to take one on our 5th anniversary. I have always loved the scenery of New Zealand. Sounds like better politics than Australia too. ????

Yeah fairly welcoming... Except me according to my old RSM, He said I'm only dangerous when armed or awake...
Jokes aside, A nice place to visit in general, Plenty to see and do or laze about as you wish. Exchange rates benifit Americans better than us of course.
But politics here are the same as any other western nations (all Bull$hit)
Brief Note: NZ is big on tourist's and I Spent a year boarding with an ex US serviceman moved out here from your mid west, He's since died (Not me!!) cancer got him. But we didn't argue too much.
