Has anyone ever seen a short barrelled SKS? I saw one at my local gun shop, I'm guessing it's a paratrooper model maybe. Looks pretty good and is cheap, I'm thinking about picking it up. |

I haven't seen it personally but I've heard of it, I'll try and see if I can find the website where I saw the info on it. |

I thought it might be, it's Romanian I believe, but it still uses the basic SKS clip. I've heard of Chinese a paratrooper SKS. I'm wondering if someone just cut the barrel for some reason. It does have any space for a bayonet, and is definetley used. |

I found this link explaining all variants of the SKS http://www.surplusrifle.com/sks/index.asp Near as I can guess you are talking about the Albanian model. This site also shows details of how to install a folding thumb hole stock on it. Very cool looking. JD Life is short, THIS IS NOT A DRILL! |
