I found this little curiousity while looking for unique knives. I hope this stays low key, because if the gun grabbers ever see it they'll flip.

I'm glad to see that someone had enough sense to bring back an old standard. A flintlock pistol from the old sailing ship days was actually the great grandfather to this very cool looking device. Who knows, someone may actually bring back the old galley gun too! It was a three barreled gun set in a fan fashion with one flint to fire all three at once. I like it!

Life is short, THIS IS NOT A DRILL!

Yep, some of the old ones are very cool. I have to confess that I'm tempted to join up one of the local Black powder clubs just to collect and use some of them old beauties.
Some years ago a friend of mine found a flint' pistol, Complete with an opera ticket dated late 1700's wedged into handle timber (lucky devel)

It reminds me of Squall's weapon in Final Fantasy VIII ( http://www.aeturnal-logos.com/gunblade/kbset1_files/squallc2.jpg ), for those of us that play video games Eye-wink
