Negev commando has a barrel used as a light machine gun or an assault riffle.

Another common small arm is Kalashnikov AK-47 rifle. Soldiers commend this rifle because of its lightweight and less sensitivity to dust and sand. They enjoy using it because of its less bulkiness therefore; this enhances accuracy and performance. AK-47 riffles are an improvement of FN FAL riffle that is bulky. It has heavy weight thus soldiers face difficulty trying to manipulate it. Its heavy weight produces less success during combats.
