Plans To Disarm U.S. Citizenry

Japanese history:

At the end of Heian period a vast quantity of arms--mainly swords--had been produced in Japan, and these were widely distributed among the population (the situation may be compared to the present-day prevalence of firearms in the United States) The Emperor believed that internal peace depended on a sweeping domestic disarmament.

Hideyoshi enforced this in 1588 with his "sword hunt" decree in which he instructed peasants everywhere to hand over swords and armor to their superiors. The metal collected would, he announced, be used for the manufacture of a huge statue of Buddha in Kyoto, and so those who obeyed promptly would make things easier for themselves in this world and the next.

Wouldn't it be terrifying if the President Elect choose to disarm the United States Citizenry by attaching some altruistic appeal to it...

These guns will be melted down and made into a wonderful monument to War Veterans or September 11 Terrorist Victims or something similar...

It's exactly the same as the gun grabbers famous statement 'if it saves just one child'.

Please realize how easy it would be to use this angle to vilify us law abiding owners who didn't surrender their firearms. Be warned my friends.

You must urge your representatives to support our natural right to self defense, and the highest physical freedom that is firearm ownership.

Good Night and God Bless.
