It occurs to me that one thing that is far more important than health care is food. The need for health care itself is codependent on a healthy person to begin with. If there were more healthy people then health care would be necessary for the few and not the many. Being part of a medical family my father many times would complain about the general public’s eating habits and the preparation of foods, such as frying and so on. He was a brilliant physician and using his guidance I propose that Universal Grocery Insurance is far more important than Universal Health Care Insurance and could save millions of uselessly squandered healthcare dollars.
Just imagine each of us having a Government Issued Grocery Card, or a GIGC. This card would have our entire medical history on it and automatically screen the items we buy at the store. Assuming one is a bit overweight it would prevent one from purchasing chips, dip and the like. Conversely if one was too thin it would allow that person to ONLY purchase foods high in fat, carbohydrates and the other weight enhancing products. The card could even be programmed to stop any person from buying too many high fat, murderous fast foods. This in itself would end the debate on whether to regulate fat content and such from the fast food industry saving even more money. Elderly folks would be allowed only foods high in antioxidants and other foods high in fiber in order to keep them regular precluding a trip to the hospital in case of malfunctioning bowels. The card could be set up to renew itself each month and when the card holder’s condition improved they could visit a doctor who could re-program the chip for the person’s new healthier condition which would allow them more trips to the fast food joint or less fatty substances as the gained or lost weight, always according to their overall health condition.
The result of such a grand program could actually nearly do away with obesity, anorexia, bulimia, stress, anxiety, malnutrition heck even acne. Of course we would have to set up a regulatory commission to oversee the program and make sure there was no abuse going on. Obese folks seeking their favorite rations might approach a slim person and pay them to use their card for non-prescribed food and vice versa. Then doctors might fall victim to the system and accept some sort of compensation to falsify a person’s card so they might procure that which has been deprived of. One would also have to consider the holiday dilemma. On Halloween everyone would get a one time amnesty to purchase candy and sweets, Jewish people would get certain bitter herb credits for Passover and Catholics could have extra credits for fish on Fridays. We are all aware that no system is perfect but surely the need for grocery insurance far outweighs the need for health insurance, a border fence or even funding a military that is fighting an unjust war for all the wrong reasons for a President who lied to us anyway.

Contraceptives should be inserted under the skin to everyone entering puberty after a complete examination of their DNA, health, economic, mental and financial status. Only by taking a two year degree in parenting and achieving passing status on the measured catagories will the contraceptive be removed. Anyone having an illegal operation to remove the contraceptive will have their babys confiscated to be raised by wolves in northern Canada.
